AT&T, leave us alone!

When the iPhone was first released, many wondered why Apple was restricting its service to AT&T, later forcing any of the phones sold to be activated in store. Are you sick of AT&T? Fear not!

Not because Apple is actually selling unlocked iPhones, that’s never gonna happen. Instead, because they might be switching partners as soon as 2010. Verizon will probably be the next to carry the iPhone, but things may just remain the same.

It was noted by Tim Cook Apple isn’t married to any company, their goal is simply to sell the best phones in the world. Unfortunately, “selling the best phones in the world” would require the devices to have some essential features it currently lacks.

If Verizon offers better services for the iPhone, I guess it’ll be good, otherwise things will stay the same, or worse. Remember, this rumor may not be true at all.
