I could have sworn Psystar died. They did? Oh. Well...they're back apparently. Sure, they were bankrupt, but the computing community is hungry for Mac alternatives. So now they're back with a line of computers that has some sort of "Open(7)" technology. Plus, they sport Intel Nehalem Xeon processors, up 24GB of RAM, and up to 40% more processing speed, all thanks to the awesome handling of Open(7). That, and they also have a new bootloader: the DUBL (Darwin Universal Boot Loader). Back from the protection of Chapter 11...and ready to make applesauce. (Yeah, their comeback doesn't make much sense to me either.) Source: Gizmodo |
