mmm soo, i figured out how to make it stay in "Contacts Mode", and not show the big ad at the bottom of conversations, and got rid of the tabs. Only thing left is to figure out why it always wants to kill the app after click the "x". The old one just minimizes.

Contacts mode = button in the top right. Tabs = in options.

Didn't know you could get rid of the ads, and the kill app thing is a built-in feature.

I'm talking about How when you sign in, it always defaults to social mode. To make it default to contacts go to:

Options > Tools > Sign In >

Then uncheck the one that says, "Always show the main window in social mode when Messenger starts".

SMILE

Shifty ninja that is.

Ah. I'm actually in social mode anyways, so whatever.

I went hack to WLM 9, I wasn't really impressed with this at all, in terms of the UI and the fact that is was a little too buggy for my liking.

Okay, granted it's Beta obviously, but since I was running into some issues during day to day use I decided that it was best to go back to version 9 where everything was working.

You mean back?

I've had no issues as of yet, and also I don't see the large ads, just the same size ones as WLM 9.

Whenever I saw the large ads, they were just WLM graphics anyways.
