| Lenovo And Samsung Hold Off On ION Shipments, Waits for Windows 7 |

The folks at lilputing has confirmed that Samsung will be holding off as well. The Samsung N510 was to be it’s flagship ION laptop, but was slated to use the ION LE graphics core; which only supports DirectX 9. However, since the delay, if Samsung waits until October, they have time to create a model with the higher end ION. Thus giving Windows 7 the DirectX 10 support it’s built for. It seems Windows 7 has caught the eye of some of the largest computer manufactures in the world. |
