Windows 7 Build 7041.winmain.090211-xxxx
Microsoft
Written by Paul Paliath on Thursday, February 19, 2009

7imgArs Technica was correct when they reported that build 7048 hasn’t been compiled yet, as a different build was compiled on that date. When we said that build 7048.winmain_win7rc1.090211-1625 was compiled, we meant build 7041.winmain.090211-xxxx. We are unsure of the exact time that the build was compiled, but it was compiled on February 11th, and, according to the build tag, this isn’t in the RC branch of builds.

We are still working hard to confirm that Microsoft has entered the RC branch, but we will keep you posted as more news on this topic develops!
