Today, the Bing team has released a mobile version of the search engine for better viewing on mobile devices, which can be accessed at m.bing.com. Packing the features of the “full-sized” PC version, the Bing team also rolled out some new features for both mobile version and desktop version: NFL feature – type a team or player and see upcoming games, stats, and scores. While the game is on, you can get real-time updates on the plays. (U.S. only) Flight status – enter the airline and flight number and get the latest departure and landing times.
The Bing team has also added a feature targeting those of you who own a touch-enabled phone in the U.S., with optimized touch navigation and a spiffy Movies feature:
Go to m.bing.com with your iPhone, Zune HD, T-Mobile G1, Verizon Imagio, or Samsung Omnia to explore the touch-optimized version of Bing. There will be support for a wider array of devices over the next couple of months. The mobile version of Bing is available in 31 countries and can be accessed on any phone with an internet connection. |
