The folks at Gizmodo have got their hands one some interesting illustrations of Microsoft’s Courier tablet PC. The details that the illustrations point out are quite magnificent, including all (if not, most) of the features you will find on the courier. these illustrations make it quite clear on what the device can be used for, and how the user interface works.
Contrary to the rumored Apple tablet, this device appears to be more useful for business, design, organization, and note-keeping. You’ll be able to browse the web, take photos, edit pictures and images, and much, much more. Although Steven Ballmer said he didn’t want an e-reader, the functionality could be built-in.
The Courier will have two side-by-side 7″ screens that input with either a stylus or multi-touch with your fingers. The hinge allows the tablet to fold like a book, and between the hinge you’ll find things such as wireless connectivity and battery life. Other features include sharing your work online with family and friends/co-workers. Including sharing comments and having discussions. The stylus will have built-in quick features that allow you to switch from pen to marker pointer. Files will be organized into a section called the Library (Windows 7 reference).
